Bogdan graduated from Polytechnic University of Bucharest, the top Computer Science program in Romania, during which time he was recognized as the winner of the Academy of Economic Studies’ prestigious Top Programmer coding competition. For more than 15 years, he was employed as a software developer and application architect in banking and insurance industries in both Romania and the United States. Bogdan co-founded Clarisoft Technologies and for 18 years led its software development and client relations with numerous creative teams. Clarisoft platforms involved top international clients from a broad range of industries, including education, marketing, telecommunications, and healthcare. While at Clarisoft, Bogdan managed Clarisoft’s engineering team, who successfully designed and developed enterprise software platforms for industry leaders such as the World Health Organization, Cisco Systems, Livongo Health, and many successful startups. Recently, Bogdan and Clarisoft teams developed a crucial contact tracing platform built for the World Health Organization, which has been used in 50+ countries during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Personally, he also enjoys tennis, reading, cooking, and experiencing different places and cultures with his family.
