Modus Create’s Atlassian Journey
In 2018, we decided to become an Atlassian partner to serve both new and existing clients better. Our practice started with only two team members, and at the time we had no Atlassian certifications or license reselling experience.
However, our project management team had provided Atlassian expertise to our clients for years. The hunt began to find the right team member who could dedicate time outside normal project work to study, take the certifications, and finish accreditations. We quickly found the perfect person, created a timeline, and ran the partnership just like a software project on Trello.
Some incredible organizations worked closely with Modus Create’s consultants to transform their business. The American Institute of Architects boosted their stakeholder engagement with Atlassian tools, and NCR upskilled their team and upgraded the Atlassian stack to accelerate Agile transformation.
Platinum Partners and Beyond
Our team continued to grow and receive more certifications from Atlassian. This required accountability, grit, and encouragement from the leadership. Soon, Modus Create’s office in Cluj, Romania got listed on Atlassian’s partner directory. This further expanded our visibility.
During this journey, we continued to upgrade our partner status with Atlassian. From Silver to Gold, and to finally Platinum.
We also executed an extremely complex Confluence solution for 25,000 users at a global retail brand. This was outside of our typical scope of Atlassian work, but our experts tackled it exactly like any challenge – they researched, leveraged relationships with Atlassian employees, and used trusted Marketplace vendors to implement the perfect solution.
