The firm also needed to identify and remediate security risks with its infrastructure. Atlassian Portfolio and Security Audits
NCR was in the middle of a massive Agile transformation and wanted Modus Create to align the technical requirements of their applications with the newly implemented Agile practices. To support future growth, they also needed to educate their team in best practices and create documentation for using Atlassian. Additionally, NCR’s versions of Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Data Center on AWS were outdated; opening the company to security risks.
Our Atlassian experts conducted onsite and remote interviews to assess the use, desired outcomes, and hurdles with Atlassian tools and related business processes. NCR’s team was interested in embracing the Atlassian tools but cited training and time as the biggest hurdles to adoption.
Simultaneously, the team performed an extensive security audit to ensure that the client was following best practices and escalating real-time security risks. Based on the findings of that extensive assessment, our consultants shared actionable recommendations with leadership.
From Atlassian Users to Masters
NCR received a roadmap to encourage the adoption of Atlassian tools, standardize processes, and increase security. The roadmap contained recommendations for the short, medium, and long-term. It also included best practices and guidelines for:
