On April 7th – 9th 2015 the Sencha world will culminate in the heart of Silicon Valley. After a year-long hiatus SenchaCon is back and will be the platform for distributing the latest and greatest in Sencha framework and tool news to the people. This year Modus Create is proud to return as a Gold Sponsor of SenchaCon. As with every SenchaCon we are going to bring the latest in our developments to showcase during our talks and at the Modus Create booth.
This year’s conference promises to highlight a few things that we are excited for. We will get our first look at Ext JS 6, which promises true multi platform support as well as an abundance of improvements. Sencha will also be demonstrating many promising updates to their Sencha Space platform. We’re excited to support one of the most dominant browser technologies in enterprise today.
Modus Create is proud to announce two speakers from our ranks will be presenting during the packed SenchaCon schedule:
Frustration free packaging for Ext JS apps and deploying Ext JS apps on mobile
April 8th, 2015 – 1:30 PM PST
Grgur Grisogono will be presenting best practices when deploying Ext JS apps on mobile devices. Have you ever wondered how to take your Ext JS app to the next step once it is feature complete? In this hands-on presentation Grgur will walk you through taking an Ext JS app and deploying it to the browser, wrapping it as a hybrid native application using Cordova / PhoneGap for mobile, Tide SDK for hybrid desktop experience, and deploying it to Sencha Space, Sencha’s BYOD Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform.
Visualizing Class Dependencies
April 9th, 2015 – 10:30 AM PST
Stan Bershadskiy will be talking about visualizing class system dependencies inside an Ext JS or Sencha Touch app. Stan will be taking a look under the hood of Sencha’s dependency management system and discussing how it applies to Sencha powered applications. We will leverage the Sencha Dependency Viewer plugin Modus Create engineers previously wrote to visualize an application’s dependency hierarchy. With this tool we will have a stronger grasp on our application’s structure and have insight into which dependencies may be unnecessary.
We are bringing a great group of engineers to SenchaCon this year, many of whom are familiar faces in the Sencha community. If you want to chat, please find us at the Modus Create booth! To schedule an appointment to discuss your business needs come to our booth! We would love share how we build apps for some of the worlds largest enterprises and dozens of successful startups. We also have tons of gear and goodies to give away! For those who remember our “init() to win it” shirts from SenchaCon 2013, wait until you see our new design!
